Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reportedly faced an embarrassing diplomatic moment at an international forum in Turkmenistan, after being left waiting for over 40 minutes for his scheduled bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The incident, which was caught on camera, has since gone viral on social media and triggered widespread political and diplomatic commentary.
According to reports, Sharif arrived on time for the meeting but was left waiting as President Putin continued discussions in a closed-door meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After an extended wait, a visibly impatient Sharif was seen entering the room where the Putin-Erdoğan talks were underway. However, he reportedly stayed for only around ten minutes before exiting, without any formal bilateral interaction taking place.
